01 //Our pledge
In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming community, we pledge to make participation in HI Cyber Con 2026 a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, sex, sexual identity, or sexual orientation.
02 //Expected behavior
Be respectful and considerate. Use welcoming and inclusive language. Be collaborative and accept constructive criticism. Focus on what is best for the community, and show empathy toward other participants in chat, voice channels, livestreams, and the CTF platform.
03 //Unacceptable behavior
Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, violent threats, or unwelcome sexual attention are not acceptable. This also includes sexualized or violent material, publishing another person's private information without permission, personal attacks, and conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
04 //Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all event spaces, including livestreams, chat, the CTF platform, community Discord, social media, and any situation where an individual is representing HI Cyber Con 2026.
05 //Reporting
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, email hi@hiddeninvestigations.net or contact an organizer through an official event chat. Include what happened, when and where it occurred, who was involved if known, and a safe way to follow up. Reports will be handled as discreetly as practical and shared with people who need to act.
06 //CTF integrity
The CTF is a test of human skill and fair play. Do not attack event infrastructure or other participants, share flags, or submit work dishonestly. Participation is also subject to the competition rules published for the CTF.
07 //Consequences
Organizers may take appropriate action in response to conduct that violates this policy, including a warning, removal from an event space or the CTF, or a temporary or permanent ban from participation.
